I live in Wuhan

So many bats around at twilight. And no I am not kidding

Twilight is when the majority of insects begin to fly around...especially mosquitoes, and bats eat bugs. If you get rid of the bugs, you get rid of the bats.

@4meAndyou I am living like a monk here, It is temporary. I kind of enjoy the sight though. It was unexpected. They do not bother me , but the spiders do.

@revenant There are huge vampire bats in India. My son stayed there for a week about 10 or 12 years ago, and he said the bats began to fly over the jungle area outside his hotel just at dusk. He said they were HUGE.

@4meAndyou I am not in India, I am in France. The bats are small like little birds. Ahh I am in a house but without air con, fridge, washing machine, no nothing !😌

Wuhan China ? How do you get over the great wall ( censorship ) wall of China..

@revenant Talking about bats we have more then a few local bats in my area.. Two breeds.. The more impressive one is called the flying fox.. In spring they comes to raid out mulberry bushes for the fruit and they get drunk on the older fruit and they end up having drunken brawls with each other in the trees.. 🤣

Keep your area well lit. I guess bats don't like to fly in well lit areas.

Nah I do not live in Wuhan lol. But the bats are real. I asked why and was told that is because there are lots of very old and abandonned buildings around.
The little town I live in now is older than dirt. There are buildings older than civilisation like gaulish ramparts and roman ones when those 2 decided to go to war and and well buildings from all centuries.
