I Feel Targeted By Korean Cars 馃拃

About 5 years ago I was simply going to a college exam with my mobility scooter and suddenly as I was passing behind a Hyundai taxi the thing suddenly reversed into me and hit me, the fender of my scooter got stuck under the car's bumper and it stopped in its place and I remember getting angry at the driver and yelling at him only to realize that the guy in front of him is what made this mess because he was reversing like an idiot and the taxi driver was reversing so the other one doesn't hit him. It was very scary but nothing really happened to me or the scooter (it had a scratch on the fender but with some water and a cloth it magically disappeared). Also that was the one and only accident I ever experienced with my scooter.

Fast forward nearly a year after that I attempted to do something stupid and ended up ruining my scooter's motor after towing him with my mom's Kia. He was my first scooter and was special to me and I still have him because I have some plans for him (or that's just a lie I tell myself lol but I mean I will never sell him for scrap because my uncle rip helped me get him and he was my imaginary friend at some point 馃槑 his name is Russ).

Fast forward till early April a few weeks ago I was out with my sister to go pick a package from somewhere with my power wheelchair (I struggle going out with my scooter now, the wheelchair is way easier to control and doesn't require a lot of effort so I just use it to go out now and I use the scooter (new scooter, his name is Ian because obviously Russ isn't functional) at home while a sane person would do the opposite lol but I'm just weird like that. So anyway this time my hand froze and my sister was moving the joystick of the chair for me and suddenly while trying to go around a pothole I crashed into a freaking Daewoo! There was a bit of damage to the footrests of the chair but I was just fine, I apologized to the driver of the car after he got out and he was like no I am sorry I should have seen you and another guy came from a nearby shop and I kept telling them I'm fine and that only the chair took the hit then the other guy got a hammer and fixed a part of the footrest and gave me water (though I wasn't really scared tbh).

So anyway what those 3 situations have in common is Korean cars 馃槄
I went out for a walk with my sister a couple of days ago and I was thinking about the whole thing and every time a Kia or a Hyundai came near me I would feel that they hate me 馃榿 like this dude suddenly stopped in the middle of the road and I wanted to be as far from him as possible in case he wanted to reverse suddenly, one of my rules is to always expect other people to make mistakes. Also somewhere on the street another Hyundai was coming towards me fast but I was visible to the driver and a bit later an old Hyundai suddenly had some sort of a hiccup in the middle of the road like it braked suddenly or missed a gear and it's tires made a noise it was like it sneezed, it was far from me though.

Those are litteraly all the dangerous situations I ever experienced in my whole life. At least when it comes to this.

Are you out driving on the road 馃ズ
@SwampFlower Well I have no choice. We don't have handicap roads or bike lanes or ramps on the sidewalks or even wheelchair accessible buses or trains. Just a typical developing country even though it's not the same in all cities, some cities do think of people like me but not all of them.
