I warn my friends all the time ,,STOP sending me chain mail .A very good friend is bad about it ,I warned him they could be reverse engineered and you just gave them your friends list
All the sudden I get a message ,guy claiming to be him
He has just got a grant he does not have to repay for $90.000.00 ,,He knows I help people ,he would like to help me but why not apply for my own .
I ask him how we know each other ,,he can't tell me the right answer ,,what was his rank in the Coast Guard (my friends an Marine ) he doesn't know the correct answer .So I report him while he is online
But he has already sent the same stuff to friends of mine ,and since he is my friend ,they assume he is legit and they are already calling the number he gave giving these people info as to where they can deposit their grants
Those people in turn sell that info
And friends have given them everything except passwords
I was able to get most of them stopped in time ,,
But its a lot more serious then people believe
Soon I am getting friends requests from relatives who are dead ,they lost their phone and now they are adding all their contacts again .
I have a friend here who is a cop ,,I just helped him restore his stolen Face Book account
The person who hacked me got ID in my ex wifes name and her man used mine ,,,it was a big deal to straighten out my identity,Luckily they went for broke and went so big they got then FBI involved ,,or who knows the damage they could have caused me ,,and my ex wife ,,both of us unaware
That is why I do not share my video's here
I need to make a new account ,not linked to my real name ,and contact info for myself and my family
The people who hacked me had their info too
My son in law runs his company over the net ,they could have ruined him ..she was good ,,and it all started on EP

@rckt148 I know. I get spammed with my own email address too. My face book account won't show my "friends list" anymore for some reason, but I've contacted all my people and told them that I have hackers on board all the time. They KNOW. I'm sorry for what you've gone through. I've gone through a lot with hackers from Pakistan and India, they are here and read everything I say so I won't say much more about that. I have another account that I don't sign into at my house and a cell phone that they can't touch, 😉that's all I'll say. New technology is coming out pretty soon that will help stop scammers, can't wait!👌🏼😎
