I never understood…

I never understood why guys always tell me that they never know what I’m thinking until now.

Rewatching a recent Zoom meeting I see how my face looks when I’m just listening to someone. I have the unfortunate combo of very pouty lips and low almond shaped eyes.

It’s even worse with my mask on because my eyes make me look extremely disinterested lol

I try smiling a little so that people know I’m not really pouting but that’s just how my lips are shaped. But then I look like I’m conspiring or judging 🤣 and not every conversation calls for a smile. People who know me best understand.

I [b]get[/b] this. I have to make an effort to smile, and I while I hate feeling obligated, I don’t want my mood misinterpreted: I’m not angry, I’m tired or something physically is hurting at the moment.

@bijouxbroussard same but even when I’m a nervous reck it still looks like I don’t care. Drives my mom crazy when she’s trying to lecture me lol.
