I Love Autumn Leaves
Trees That Twist To The Skies
The leaves of brown
Race, dance
Along the faded grass
The wind
Whips round my curls
The trees now bare
Watch over this
Standing tall, naked
The evergreens laugh
In their element soon
As Lord Winter is on his way
The ravine breathes deeply
As it always does
The warmth of the noon sun
Lightly brushes my soft skin
As I shiver slightly
Lord Winter making his way
Slowly, surely soon...
The leaves of brown
Race, dance
Along the faded grass
The wind
Whips round my curls
The trees now bare
Watch over this
Standing tall, naked
The evergreens laugh
In their element soon
As Lord Winter is on his way
The ravine breathes deeply
As it always does
The warmth of the noon sun
Lightly brushes my soft skin
As I shiver slightly
Lord Winter making his way
Slowly, surely soon...
