But sometimes, I run out of snarky replies; or I'm just not in the mood. And then I can't think of anything to say. I almost feel like I'm really a boring person, because if I can't think of something funny to say, I stay quiet.
You're not boring because you choose to be quiet when you don't have something funny to say. You're intelligent enough to know when to stop talking, unlike so many of us who blather on trying to....well.....you see what I'm saying. ;)
I never equate being quiet with being boring. In fact, some of the most interesting people I know have their quiet moments. It's the non-stop talkers that generally bore my @ss off, not people like you.

I agree with these two gentlemen, some people talk just to hear themselves. Knowing when to zip your lip is an underrated skill. Quiet is intriguing, mysterious, nobody has to know youve got nothing to say! ; )
