And a car coat, and I expected the party to run pretty much as it does every year. We hadn't been there that long before Pallas, Mateo, his friend Cyrus and me slipped away in Pallas's Smart4four to go find the way to see the fireworks on the Thames.
Parking was a challenge, but my cousin knew where she might be able to park near where she works, and we made out way Thamesside. The display was spectacular! On the way back Cyrus and I got talking. We had double dated a year ago, and he got chatty about if we could go out together soon.
