My boss complimented me
At the new job my fiance and I started 2 weeks ago, our boss called us "hard workers", and the girls whose job it is to keep us supplied with materials said we are "always patient" with them. 😊
I do enjoy the job. It's sometimes exhausting when we're rushing to get an order out, but overall it's easy and not too laborious. We assemble single-use kits that contain everything a doctor needs to perform an endoscopy- tubing, cleansing sponge, sterilizing agent, lubricating jelly, gauze, and the disposable surgical pads. After we bundle them they're about the size of a rotisserie chicken. They get packed 10 to a box, the box gets labeled, then shipped out. Easy enough. And we don't ever get dirty. Clean air, too.
It's a temp-to-hire position, but one of my coworkers started as a temp in July this year and just got hired by the company as a permanent employee yesterday. That's about 5 months. If my fiance and I continue to get positive reviews, perhaps after 5 months we will be hired too. That's the goal, because only if we are hired can we risk getting the apartment we want (5 mins away from work, and in close proximity to stores, restaurants, theater, etc.).
