I Like African Music

Here's a song from Nigeria called 'Eye Adaba'. Its a very beautiful song with soothing instruments. Even I'd you don't understand the language you'll still find it calming.

There are different 'genres' of music in Africa, but this is my favorite. Its sort of like, African 'folk' music. Some artists from Nigeria are 'going international' and getting into the dirty parts of African American culture with trashy international collaborations. Here in Africa, we don't call our women 'bitches'. Luckily Àsá never did. This song inspired a lot of Nigerians in the early 2000s. We finally returned to civilian rule in 1999 after so many military dictators and it was a message of hope :) I particularly love the flute solo.

Nice. Always wanted to visit Africa. This one isn't from the Western part but it's just awesome. I like the 1st track especially the minute 2:30
