I Am An Introvert

came from SC to Fort Collins, Co for a temporary job transfer. got here a week ago and realized people can't drive(but I heard they're amazing in bad weather conditions). I go door to door for my job installing electrical meters and I get hit by the smell of weed sometimes. I'm black and I rarely see other blacks here (not that I care, just an observation). And it's very obvious I'm near a college, it's nice seeing a young adult crowd than just seeing a very old crowd in SC. I notice alot of people ride bikes and almost every house I go to has a dog(SC mostly had small annoying ankle bitters compared to people here who mostly has big dogs).ive met some rude folks but overall nice crowd so far.I want to try to meet new people but, I'm an introvert so.....i probably wont.

My daughter attends CSU, so I'm very familiar with the area. Horsetooth Reservoir is a great place close by for hiking and kayaking. Old Town is great, too. Mary's Mountain Cookies are to die for. There are a lot of great places to eat in that area, and there are a lot of things to do outdoors, too. If I didn't have to stay near Chicago for my job, I'd actually move to Colorado. Every time I go out for a visit, I wish I lived there.

@SW-User hey thanks I've been to a few restaurants(don't know the names) since there's no stove in the hotel lol. but i enjoy the restaurants so far. yeah i think that's the college I'm near. Colorado is interesting though....seems like a nice place for camping
