I Am An Introvert

i feel like i am caged inside a cage with no doors.. i want to live free , alone, far from society, with nobody but just me and my drawings. i do not want to survive, i want to live...

After one marriage, one semi-marriage, and several longer term relationships, I have to say the best times of my adult life were when I was living alone. I am alone again and it's heaven. I'm retired so I can pretty much spend my time however I choose. I've never been lonely, except sometimes when I was in a bad relationship. I steer clear of that now. I have a reasonable but limited social life because that's the way I want it. I spend my time reading, writing, at Starbucks, and visiting my sister for cards, scrabble and 420. We have a great time together although I'm not sure anyone else would understand or appreciate our sick sense of humor. Live the way you want to live, and die happy :))

yeah... time with myself is the only thing i need...

Go for it. Just don't overdo it. There's more to life than solitude. Take the time to lick your wounds, but remember that your scars are your proof that you actually lived :))

I know how you feel. I am lucky enough to be living alone right now on the edge of a tiny village at the base of a mountain. I am introverted to the max and I absolutely love this. Today I am just sitting around drinking coffee, reading a very interesting book and glancing at EP now and then. People keep asking me , "don't you get lonely ?" No I don't get lonely, I love this, it is like Heaven on Earth. The book that I am reading is just confirming for me why I love this so much. It is because I am never really alone, everyone is with me, always. I know that sounds weird.

It is not weird.. Its exactly what i like..
By the way , which book are you talking about?

You'll probably think I'm insane but here it is.

have you watched the movie "into the wild"?
I think the cage has opened doors, but usually we are not able to see them or we are too afraid to step out of them.
