I Have Faith In God
Today I just wanted to Praise God openly for once again seeing my family through the trials we all face ,and for the blessings that He is always faithful to provide .
I will share a few examples and leave it up to whoever reads this as to their own opinions
I have no desire to convert anyone ,I just testify to things I know are real ,and has been proven ,by my seeing it ,or the overwhelming evidence to its validity ,
My understanding of Gods word and His promises may be one thing to me ,and something totally different for you ,,I can only testify as to things I have seen or understood by inspiration of the Holy spirit ,Maybe it was just for me ,and its not your time to understand ,I don't know ,I do seem to suck getting some to see things that seem so clear to me ,but so complicated for others ,but I did not always see or believe either .
but now the evidence is to overwhelming for my family to deny Christ His due ,and give Him the due place of benevolence in our lives ,even if the rest of the world would mock us .
So that said ,this in more for a believer who needs to be encouraged not to give up ,God is not always a right now God ,sometimes we just have to stand on our faith ,even when all we see says to give up ,
Understanding and faith as to how others see it ,I can't increase your faith ,but I can tell you why mine is so strong ,how my faith is increased on a regular basis ,but maybe this can help encourage some of you too .I hope so .
Recently I posted my Daughter gave birth to a son and for her this is the greatest blessing she is ever going to receive from God ,well next to her salvation .
All my girls have suffered from some form of female problems as their Mom has and her Mom ,having miscarriages or children born with birth defects is noting new to their Moms side of the family, IF, they can get pregnant at all .
Their Mom was 24 ,She had just gave birth to our 3rd daughter when her Uterus collapsed and her Ovaries stopped working ,,she had gone through the change of life at 24 years old ,and not listening to Doctors about hormones—progesterone and estrogen therapy ,
she changed drastically ,I do believe with all my heart this lead to our divorce .
All of my girls have had to deal with Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
The 2 that have kids were told they should consider themselves blessed ,none of them should have kids ,but my oldest has 2 girls and my youngest a boy and a girl ,all of them my world ,,
So my middle daughter has tried for years to have a child ,medications ,minor surgeries ,and every suggested treatment she could endure to have children and every time she was told the same thing ,,"Give Up its just not possible " Adopt .
So she became a foster parent ,
She went back to school and did all the state required in order to foster kids placed in her care by HRS and other agencies that need somewhere to place a child removed from their parents home for whatever reason ,so she has cared for children from a few days old on up to teens soon to be 18 ,,25 in all,,
but the heartbreak always comes when the parent completed drug programs or met the requirements to finally get their kids back ,and she was OK with that ,she knew upfront that day would come .
Her Husband passed away a few years ago from total kidney failure ,he had complications with his dialysis ,,so he made a willful choice to go spend a day with his Grandkids (He had a daughter from a previous marriage when he married my daughter )to go to Wild Adventures Ga.,that ended with him in the hospital in Atlanta where he passed away from congestive heart failure ,leaving my daughter an emotional wreck and then a battle with his daughter trying to take her home (it was hers when she married her husband ,the daughter tried to make her sell it and give her half ,,and tried to forge the title to his truck and take that from her too ,,so not bad enough to lose her husband ,she had to go right away into a battle with his daughter to keep her home that was already hers when she married ,,She won, but what a time to come at her with all that ,the daughter was within 4 hours of her Dads death trying to donate his organs and had not even let my daughter know her husband was dead ,,,So to say she has been through the mill is an understatement
10 months ago she was Baptized and shortly after the man who asked me for her hand in marriage was also Baptized ,,they were wed ,(a Double Ceremony ,the Baptism ,and then the Wedding ,it was beautiful and I was so proud of them both )
So once again I gave my daughter away in marriage .
Shortly after, she tells me I am one of the first to hear some good news ,
She is pregnant ,against all odds she is finally going to have the long prayed for child .
She was told it was impossible ,but We serve a God who loves that word .
So a few days ago now ,She has a son ,almost 10 lbs and very healthy .
Now I would love to say the story ends here ,but sadly every time we are blessed ,seems we also get a huge test of our faith ,which is stupid ,satan should get we can't be moved anymore ,but he never lets up
The next morning after giving birth ,
HRS shows up to drug test her and informs her someone has called in on the 800 number that she has been suicidal and she abuses drugs and may be a danger to her child .
This is one of the funniest reports I have ever heard of ,,
and apparently from her husbands ex wife ,it seems she is the one who made the call since my daughter number one is anything but a drug abuser ,she don't drink or smoke either ,,since things were said against him too ,thats that paint him out to have a side I jave never seen and He and I have had a run in ,but we settled it quick ,we both love my daughter .
So the allegations describe a side of him none of us have ever seen ,we all assumed right off it was someone trying to hurt him ,
but they chose the wrong one to accuse of being a danger to a child or a drug addict ,neither one of those words describe my daughter .
Now had they wanted to bring up my past,
then it would have fit ,I was an addict and had also wanted to die in the past ,but that was a long time ago ,and all my kids are self reliant ,,and none have I ever heard mention the words "Kill Myself or Suicide " we were all very hurt when my Brother committed suicide ,so we all now see that as a very selfish act .
None of my kids drink ,or do drugs and only one smokes cigarettes and all 3 ,
everyone knows are excellent mothers even if until now my middle one was only a foster parent ,,but she is good at it ,she loves kids .
(at one time I guess he was a heavy drinker but my daughter would not have dated a drunk let alone married one ,so he already knew that about her so we hear he quit long before he even bothered to ask my daughter out on a date and anyone who really knows my daughter knows if God ever made a strong woman who can bear up to about anything ,its my baby .
She has always been a very strong willed woman ,in her words "Self Made ",,LOL ,(she has had some help ) ,but she is very independent , I am very proud of her ,She is going to be the best Mom ever .
So Suicidal ,drug addict and drug abuser ? NOPE WRONG ONE ,you most defiantly missed it with that one ,and that is easy to verify ,her step dad was a drunk /addict ,she hates both .(So was I but she has never seen me drunk or high ,,I was clean and sober when I got custody of her and her sister ,so they don't judge others ,they just never had the desire to mess with any of that ,I guess they have see enough damaged caused by both )
She just had a "C" section ,and still refused pain meds the hospital verified ,she only took Tylenol ,she hates the effects of narcotics ,,so that was the waste of a test kit LOL
Suicide is the furtherest thing from her mind ,she is on top of the world
She owns her own home and he owns his ,she has everything she could need and then some, and so does he.
and now she is happy with her marriage and she has her baby ,,so it was easy to prove the report a lie ,
but they still wanted to do a home study before she came home with the baby to ensure she had everything she needed .
All the kids she has taken care of and she is licensed to do so ,,,this would be funny were it not so ridicules ,,
Her husband and my youngest meet HRS at the house and the lady from HRS goes on about what a nice home she has and how its has more then everything a baby or any child could need and how she is so sorry this is obviously just someone who does not know my daughter and my youngest daughter said, I know you can't say who called but will you confirm who didn't ,and the lady agreed ,,
So after just a few names she heard one she recognized and remained silent ,
Her husbands ex wife ,,She has never met my daughter or spoken to her on the phone ,ever.
Her problems with her Ex is between them ,my daughter had nothing to do with their marriage ,she did not even know him until last year ,,but here she is causing my daughter problems ..
But other then the inconvenience all she has done is further prove that God picked the right one for the job when he gave this baby boy to my daughter .
But the funniest part was when the lady seen the stuff for the baby in its own room ,already painted up and his name on everything ,she was impressed ,but when she seen all the stuff in my daughters room for his infancy and how well prepared my daughter is ,
the lady said this is awesome ,rarely do you see someone so prepared with any and everything ,this baby is going to want for nothing ,,
And my daughter say "Mam ,She has only been getting ready for this baby for 16 years ",
She never gave up hope one day God was going to bless her with a child of her own .
Adoption or however ,,one that she could raise as her own and never have to give up .
Now He has ,,when she finally quit trying to bring about finding a Godly husband who loves her more then himself ,,she got one.(and I think both of them being Baptized ,signifying they both were buried with Christ and all sins buried with them ,it set the stage for the best marriage ever ,,) and now she has been blessed with a child too .
All of my kids have been through hell ,,,all of my girls have
But nothing has ever shaken their faith ,
Now we have another testimony
Our Father loves the word impossible ,,He likes proving that is the only thing man made about Him ,,,
He is very real ,and He loves doing things for my family men say is impossible .
So we can say
Luke 1:37English Standard Version (ESV)
37 For nothing will be impossible with God.”
We believe in that so called man made book ,and so for we are not ashamed for it
