Granny beauty, kind sometimes funny. She was all there for as when we can’t afford to have food on the table, a roof on our head. And when we needed school supplies, we always have that year supply ready before the school start. She wasn’t a happy wife and a happy mother either. With the decision her daughters made in their life she always have to make ends meet for them, support them emotionally. A person with few words, “I work best when alone!” when young people or grandchildren would come to help her with the small repairs she would do around the house. And she’d be laughing signalling us to stay in distance laughing while saying “Great out great out!” In a good English accent we always love to hear from her. She would always find stuff to do inside the house. She’s not the kind who gossips with busybodies. She is always at home. She pays for someone to wash clothes, because she wants to help a poor family earn for themselves. Ask a young man to take the trash out from the house on specific day and hands him few change or a bag of rice or bread or both. She respects all kinds of people from all walks of life. Always giving to the poor. She’s was once known to be a strict mother but as she advance in age she is a friend to all, young and old, men and women. Sometimes, manupilated by close family members, too much forgiving. But she remains everyone’s Granny.
@PoetryNEmotion I wish the same thing. Many many conversations with her. And though she can be forgetful of the present, I don’t think she forgets about her pasts.
My grandmothers are both deceased....one at age 80 in 1986, the other at age 95 in 1994. I was fortunate to have had many years with 2 grandmothers who were very different, but both very loving. 🤗
