@Reject I feel you should never put someone before your own feelings, as that can lead to emotional abuse & getting hurt yourself; things should be equal on both sides in a mutually loving relationship 🙂

@BalmyNites It's not self neglect because it's love. If putting them first is something you want to do for their safety, it doesn't harm you either. It can lead to those things, but only if you're selfish in some way. Equal isn't as important as their happiness to me.
