I Think Smart Is Sexy

We're in the same boat. I've had to learn to tone down my subject matter and means of expressing so people don't look at me like I have three heads. My counselor has told me I come off sounding line an arrogant college professor. It isn't my intent, and I don't put myself above anyone, really. Everyone has the same value. But it's so tiresome having to gear down just to have the caliber of conversation I would enjoy with someone.

first off you are a female, thus having the upper hand on most men due to us usually have to split brainpower between two heads.

and second, may i inquire as to what kind of man you are looking for?
relationship or general online mind stimulating buddy?

can i possibly apply for the second one? is there a test?

I have "loved" intelligent women, but wasn't intelligent enough to recognize that it was love . I guess I thought I was intelligent, but it turns out I was nothing but a smart ass.....and the two are not the same thing, in spite of how hard I tried to convince people they were.lol

I guess we all look for connection in a relationship, so if you are articulate, intelligent and attractive I think it's reasonable for you to expect the same in your partner. I hope you find someone more than satisfactory, if you are looking.
