I Dont Understand How You Can Be Pro Life and Pro War

For all those who care about life and are Pro-life: Do you also fight against wars which are killing thousands and millions of people every year? Do you tell your war monger politicians not to make friends with dictators and sell them arms which are then used to kill, disable those actually are alive and living?
Do you protest to stop the war in Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Iraq, Myanmar, Libya, Afghanistan, and Nigeria, Mali? Do you tell your greedy politicians to no sell those weapons and buy black gold.
Or you only care about abortion of the life which has not come into this world

Yes! I protest war as well. Innocent people, including children and the unborn, die in war. Most war only benefits evil politicians (except civil wars which free citizens from evil politicians). And I believe that everyone who has been evaluated and is allowed to adopt should be required to adopt at least one child (especially us pro-lifers). I also protest the mistreatment of animals.

@Nomad have you adopted? Or do you foster a child? A big sister?
If so, I applaud you.
@Nomad well problem there are many who should never be parent, they cannot look after themselves, never mind adopting and raising another child. Also i also wonder why people go to other countries to adopt when there thousands needing to be adopted here at home?

@Carla My ex husband messed that up for me when he beat me and a little girl we were fostering. And, even though I have divorced him and had no incidents myself, they will not let me foster or adopt. However, I do plan on going overseas to get me some babies to love and spoil.

@aaaabbbb That's why I said, "those who have been evaluated and are allowed". And, US adoption laws leave out a lot of good people who would be wonderful parents. That's why people go places where they are allowed to adopt.
Carla · 61-69, F
@Nomad there you go. Reasons why women should be allowed to choose.
Nomad · 36-40, F
@Carla Ummmmm... that makes no sense.
Carla · 61-69, F
@Nomad really? How many children do you reckon are in foster care? Abused, forgotten children?
Nomad · 36-40, F
@Carla Not because people don't care, but because of politicians making laws that prevent good people from adopting. The flaw's in the laws.
Carla · 61-69, F
@Nomad there are about half a million kids in foster care right now.
Most adoptive parents want a baby. Babies become toddlers, quickly.
All I am saying is that radical pro lifers care nothing about children once they are born. It's about control. Nothing more
Nomad · 36-40, F
@Carla That's delusional thinking. There are so many kids in foster care because of politicians making laws preventing good people from adopting (not just babies).
Carla · 61-69, F
@Nomad I'm not gonna argue this with you.
Nomad · 36-40, F
@Carla Ok. Lol. Have a blessed and peaceful night (or day, depending on where you're at).

@Carla, with the opioid crisis, it's really bad. These kids are born into terrible circumstances. Sometimes one or both parents die of their addiction. I am sure these kids feel real special when they are forced into foster care as they are already traumatized. A lot of these poor kids have medical and emotional problems too, but thank goodness they are just welcomed into open arms by all those pro-life protesters.
Carla · 61-69, F
@Peapod it is very sad. Not saying that these children shouldn't be here. But it is a problem.
More access to contraceptives and mental health professionals and rehab facilities. But that would not fit the narrative....
Peapod · 61-69, F
@Carla, we are simply not a true, pro people nation. Very sad.
Carla · 61-69, F
@Peapod isnt it though. Too many folks needing to be "right". At the expense of being compassionate.
Nomad · 36-40, F
@Peapod So, politicians create an opioid crisis and make adoption laws do strict it's almost impossible for people to adopt. Instead of voting for better politicians and laws, murder the unborn?
Peapod · 61-69, F
@Nomad, what is a better politician to you? What would you like changed?
Nomad · 36-40, F
@Peapod How about politicians that won't invade other countries just for their poppy fields. Then bring the opium over here and tell doctors they're no longer allowed to treat people with pain medication because of addiction then start an epidemic by selling heroin on the street because they can make a bigger profit by cutting out big pharma. That would help fix the opioid crisis. Then loosen adoption laws (not the vetting process) so that more good people are eligible to adopt. That would help fix the high foster care rates. And, how about using tax money for what they say they are going to use it for. Things like healthcare sp people have access to birth control and programs that will help those already roped into addiction by a money hungry system run by crooked politicians (on both sides!).
Peapod · 61-69, F
@Nomad, of course you would have to know for sure which politicians are directly responsible for the drugs. I hate to say this, but there are a lot of dirty hands in government when it comes to this. I don't think any of us have the power to stop what has been going on for decades.

I seriously doubt that most people that are pro-life will ever vote in a politician that wants to make healthcare more accessible, especially birth control.
Nomad · 36-40, F
@Peapod I guess that means I'm more anti-abortion than pro-life.
Peapod · 61-69, F
@Nomad, actually, I am very "pro-life" too. I just understand abortion will likely always will need to be available for a myriad of reasons. I wish this was not the case. I don't like to see harm done to anyone, especially to those already born.
