I Value Critical Thinking

For school... I had to do a task in februari. We had to watch 3 videos of teachers giving a course. I had to write a critical analysis of the 3 videos and tell why certain aspects were good and certain aspects were bad.

Now in may... the task finally got graded. The maximum grade was 40, but in the task itself the expected maximum grade is set between 35-38. With the idea that nothing is perfect.

I got a long responds... topping my grade 40/40 (A+++). With 3 remarks:

"I never tought about that"
"I need to think about this too"
"That's really insightfull, I've never looked at it like that"

Loads of praise. (a bit to much honestly, because I didn't think it was that good)

In the same day, I got remarks back from a teacher that I had to observe in class in real life. Altough the task didn't tell me to do feedback to the teacher I observed, I kinda thought it was honest to do it annyway (since it's her class). I was hoping to get feedback, and get to a less subjective result (because I'm subjective and don't have real measuring tools). I got an awfull responds, about how I don't understand her, that I have no idea that I'm talking about, and that I don't know what things she did before and after that lesson with her pupils. Because I made some critical remarks from the stand points of a 50 minutes lecture, without background or aftermat lessons.

She writes: "You clearly have no observation skills".

All in one day. 🤯

I guess she didn't like being "observed."🤔 At least you got a good grade.
