I Want To Write My Random Thoughts And Feelings

Why is there only ever two sides to any equation or paradigm? Whoever said there was only two? And why are we always encouraged to choose one over the other? You'll see the promotion of this within our political establishments and our media; our culture, and even our religions.

Throughout history, the people who pull the strings have forever wanted us to pick a side, so that it can play us against some other "side", and portray it to be a 1000 times worse than it really is; so that we hate it enough to want to go to war; enough to hand over our freedoms and our privacy so we can defend ourselves from it. The end goal, ultimately, is to break the collective human will with the people's consent, so that people are controllable with as little force as conceivably possible; so the rulers no longer have to hide and can operate in plain sight. In this scenario, people are systematically and slowly conditioned to regulate their own behaviours voluntarily, and come to believe it's for their own good.

No one knows for sure who really pulls the strings around the world, because the real players never put themselves on display. And the further up the power ladder you go, the less people you will find. Power is only safe in the hands of the few; things that become too big and popular are eventually uncovered. The only way for the real players to succeed is if they keep their lips shut about their true motives and agendas, while simultaneously manipulating others to do their bidding and dirty work for them.

But power can never be fully satisfied with itself. It's always looking for ways it can shrink itself, to be as inconspicuous and privatized as possible. But it must also remain as big as it needs to in order for things to "get done"; you need connections and acquaintances; links; people who can help you get what you want (friends). All the players are playing each other, because all the players want the same thing: more power. They don't like to share. But they also know that if they work together there's mutual advantage. Just because they all happen to be on the same side doesn't mean they actually (have to) like each other. It's just a job - a way for everyone to get what they want.

The most concentrated model of power would be for a single individual to be at the helm of world power, to run and control everything by themselves (after having done-away with the competition/opposition). That would be the ultimate top-spot for anyone seeking absolute and total power: to be the one-eyed king in the valley of the blind, and to not even need force or secrecy to pull it off. The early stages of this plan can be seen not just throughout history, but also the world around us today. More and more people lining themselves up for bigger and bigger government, while personal identity is phased out of us through propaganda and agenda-laden narratives.

For those who climb high on the power ladder, the worst fear in the world would be to suddenly lose it all and for the house of cards to collapse. But ironically, this fear is one of the main motivational forces for keeping the game alive in the first place. You end up needing to gain more and more power just to conceal the power you already have - an insidious cycle, of being held captive to your own passions, but being too prideful to give it all up.

Great, and I get you put length in words towards this *an undervalued aspect in modern twitting society* but this confusing. I'm not so cynical to see this as a "plan" even if in someway I can see it creates a politicians wet dream in dystopia. Let me just say they aren't that smart, come back to the world, avoid the rabbit hole, and most people are just trying to get by.

I don't believe people are literally plotting this behind closed doors, but it's certainly what they want, deep down - and it's the only reason anybody would want absolute power. The only other reason you would want absolute power is to give it back to the people (which isn't what anybody in government is intending to do at all - at least not from what I can see).

They're smarter than your average person, which is all that's really needed in order to pull something like this off. They're smart, but their arrogance also makes them stupid as well. It forces mistakes. In the end it brings down all empires.
