Is an hour and forty six minutes too much walking or is that good?

I go on walks every week. I'll go few times a week. Two days ago I went on a walk for an hour and forty six minutes. I know it sounds a lot but I felt good walking. My legs were tired. I try to go for walks for at least an hour. My goal today is to walk for about an hour.

Definitely not too long. I hike between an hour or two on most weekdays (at night) and longer on the weekends. The only thing you need to be aware of is food and water when you get in to longer distances. Eating some carbs before you go is a good idea too. That'll keep your legs a little stronger. Keep at it. Good for your head and body.

BTW...if you want to check out a woman who puts in CRAZY miles, you might want to lean on her for some inspiration. Heather "Anish" Anderson aka "The Ghost." One of the "best" backpackers in the world. She averages between 30 and 40 miles a DAY on long trails like the PCT and AT. Do things as you go take pictures maybe or something but don’t get carried away lol
Use to love going out on walks with bf for hours the most I’ve done is to the corner shop and back and I’ve not done that in months
Maybe one day my girls will see a park....
I don’t think it’s too much.

It's fine! I used to go for long walks too when I was in uni. It's healthy.

It's not too long and the sun is good for you.
But maybe you could walk for 30m and then do yoga or qigong....
Ive been going for two hour walks-- 7 miles -- lately. Its all good.

No, I think it’s great and it strengthens your legs as they adapt to it.
@bijouxbroussard Thanks! That's what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to get my legs to adapt and get used to it because I'm trying to live a permanent healthy lifestyle.
