I Love Lsd

I truly love LSD. I wrote a LONG post on my experiences with acid on the "I Have Done LSD" group site.

I haven't done a lot of different drugs, just a lot of a few drugs - peyote, psilocybin mushrooms, cocaine twice, pot, and LSD.

I like mushrooms and peyote; cocaine was okay but cost way too much (powder back then, before crack); I really like pot; but I love acid.

I was 26 and had just completed my first year of law school before I first did LSD. Over the next roughly 15 years, I dropped acid - definitely preferring liquid - about 50 times. I never had any trip that could remotely be considered "bad", interesting, bizarre, disconcerting - hell, yes, but never bad.

My personal belief is that when you drop acid, you need to keep one small spot in your brain that remembers that you paid for this trip into this unique and wonderful alternative reality. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. When you start thinking the giant, hairy spiders on the wall are real in your "normal" world, then you have problems.

Be like Castaneda - although he used peyote as the key - and enjoy the reality you are privileged to enter. Don't discount it though; you are as unreal there, as the denizens from there are here.

After two years of law school, I dropped out and became an over-the-road mover/truck driver. No, there is absolutely no connection between the major career change and dropping acid.

A few years after becoming a mover, my world changed as the federal government introduced the CDL (Commercial Drivers License) program, one requirement of which was that all trucking companies had to randomly piss test one quarter of their drivers four times a year. And, once you got a test, your name went right back into the pool, so a driver could conceivably be tested four times a year.

And, even the test date within the quarter had to be random. So, worst-case scenario, a driver could be tested on March 31, and then be drawn for another test on April 1.

Prior to the CDL, states only required drug screens pre-employment and post-accidents. I could still drop acid safely and comfortably then - but not so post-CDL.

I was enjoying seeing the country and making a decent income, so I decided to quit using any drugs until after I retired.

A year ago, at age 66, I caught viral meningitis from somewhere and spent four weeks in the hospital. Viral Meningitis has a high fatality rate, but I survived just fine. I had been planning to work until age 70, but saw the meningitis as a sign that it was time to retire - and to return to my drugs of choice.

I live in Michigan and was able to get a medical marijuana card. So, I have been able to start using pot again with no worries - except for what idiot Jeff Sessions might decide to do.

However, as far as I know, no state has a medical acid card. And, since I have not bought any LSD for roughly 25 years, I have no idea where to buy it, and am very apprehensive about approaching people that I don't know to buy acid.

So, I keep hoping that someone will approach me and offer me the proverbial sugar cube. I learned early on that liquid is a much cleaner, more enjoyable experience than blotter, and is incredibly better than microdot.

Or, maybe, a state will legalize acid -"Are you listening, Governor Brown" - so I can move there.

One can always hope, you know!

One other thought: You are not hideous!!!

Hatred and prejudice are hideous, but they are not the person, they are thoughts.

Minds can open and love and acceptance can come in.

Try it, I bet you will like it!

Thanks!

I agree about excess, but even air and water are bad when taken to excess!
