I Believe Age Doesnt Define Maturity

I believe maturity is highly subjective and defined by personal expectations and standards.

I personally have a few experiences with maturity.

I have seen grown people behave in ways you'd expect from children and i've seen children with intellect rivaling people who are decades older.
But neither of these cases are definite either. These grown-up children have done things that define maturity according to local social standards.
And the kid who once baffled me with his smarts did some pretty dumb things later. He is smart but not yet come into full control of his own mind.
That is something that comes with age only.

People will be people. They are both good and bad, and maturity is just another way to measure them up against ourselves.
