I Love Railways

I really love railways my part of the world where I live lost so many of it's railway lines as a keen cyclist nowadays I cycle many of the old railway tracks which were once 19th Century Motorways for Steam as a very young boy I remember them going my late Father worked for the railway and our family would receive priviege tickets known as Privs which allowed cheap fares for family members of employees of the railway so I benefited I travelled often in the late 1950s and early 1960s on the Steam trains on these lost routes I enjoy the exercise cycling along these tracks and remember when we really travelled in style long gone days remembered.

I wish I could see it.
How far do you ride at a time?

Unsatisfiedstace I never answered your question how far do I ride at a time it depends on the weather and I take detours if I see something interesting, yesterday about twelve miles I had to hurry home yesterday as the light was going I saw a site yesterday which I have to photograph I left my camera at home so I'll have to return there shortly and take a few pictures a village lost in time.
