@BlueVeins I really should learn to cook for myself at least to be honest. I don't give a fuck that society says cooking is women's work. Fuck that- Women are largely too busy to cook for my ass. I'm the only one who will look after me.

@BlueVeins ESPECIALLY because the word 'picky" doesn't begin to go far enough to describe my problems. I am full blown ARFID which is that taken to extremes more intense than you can possibly imagine due to an overactive sense of flavor and scent that can trigger vommiting if something is too awful. So I tend to eat at the same 3 places over and over and over and rely on a relatively limited number of goods at home since I'm terrified of food I have not already tried due to the trauma of vomiting in front of my peers when I was very young... So when somebody does take care of me attention to detail is paramount everything has to be done with exacting precision I'll pick up on even slight imperfections because my taste buds are super tasters and I envy those of you who do not share my problem.

it would make sense to learn my own recipes to take care of myself on my own especially since If I do get the courage to risk vomiting at least if it's my own food I can eat it in private and if I do gag choke and throw that shit up nobody else has to know or witness it.

I'd prefer to do my vomiting in private.

if women are largely too busy to take care of my ass it goes double for me because whatever they're doing it's VERY Hard to work ME into those plans in regards to food because I like what I like and ANY Deviation will not be tolerated.

with all the female friends I have considering the majority of my friends share two X chromosones I feel like I can talk about some things they mostly have in common and one thing most of my Female friends have in common is they STAY BUSY. ALWAYS. They're either doing something or SLEEPING .

So especially since I'm older now I'm basically expected to look after myself to a much greater extent it's very easy for me to go over looked.

Especially because mom at this point is either indisposed due to digestion problems or in ay too much pain due to digesting issues quiet frequently so I often cannot go out to eat since I don't have my license and NOBODY else is willing to put up with going as far from the house as where I like to eat is.

since I am not a child anymore nobody takes pity on me but for mom when I am hungry.

@HannibalAteMeOut She did for a bit and then when I was 11 and she was 10 she "accidentally" poured soda over ALL my clothes, except for one pair of sox. So I had to sit in those and a towel the whole weekend whilst they washed and dried. After that I never asked her to do my washing again.

@MartinTheFirst true, it's because we feel we are obligated to have good relations with all of them even if we know they are assholes for some reason and this just complicates things. Many don't understand the concept that blood doesn't make a family.
