I I've Had My Heart Broken Into a Thousand Pieces
The more I learn about love, the more apparent it becomes to me to wish for your happiness.
To want to make you happy.
Even with just the little ways we can.
By making the world q better place.
It's one of the things I've learned from my favorite shows, but never thought I'd have to apply the entirety of it to my own life.
I know that's my fault though.
But I'm at least happy with this alternative path in a sense.
I was feeling too lost without it, and without you.
But it's enough to know that if I out out good in the world. That maybe good will come my way, by coming back to you.
Maybe there's some kind of ripple effect that will take place. Maybe if I persist, enough ripples will create a wave.
One that can splash down joy onto your life and soul. This is what I think about now in these trying times as I struggle to get there. To get to where I want to be.
You mean everything to me. I'm glad I am who I am. Not what I have done, but who I have become, and am becoming.
I want to see you. Smiling.
Like you used to. Times seem to be at the beginning point, the climax of the storm where the raging fury throws it's trials against us the hardest.
All before calming, settling, and giving us that peaceful bit of tranquility as we float along the rest of the way.
It's enough to just know if I can cause good things in your life in some way, shape, or form.
I suppose that's why my heroes have always been who they were. Before I even met you. I related to them all, before I've even come to relate to them more.
To watch how they've strived for the good, makes me wish to strive for the good as well. And you are as much inspiration behind it as they are!
So this is my letter to you. And my promise. If nothing more than trying for these goods, and these ideals in my heart. I will try.
I will try to put out as much good as I can from here on out. I know that it's a very simple and basic promise. But when humans promise too much, they fail.
I hope to see it some day, to just know that I was able to truly help you. Would mean the world to me. Because I love you.
