I Run Cross Country

I ran the last cross country of the year in school this morning! It was cold! Wet! And Muddy!!! I was freeezzzzing plus I was wearing a tee and some shorts which are now caked in mud!! I think I still have mud on my legs, feet, arms and in my hair ugh 😑

The little girls in our house had to run cross country this week 😄 They were not allowed out of the showers until they had washed off all the mud. I have never seen them so clean before 🙂

@TammieBear Wish I had the same rules! 🙂 I had to have a rushed shower because as per usual the run took longer than expected and I was still showering when the bell went 😞

@KatieJ You need to run faster! We are allowed to return to the changing room as soon as we have finished the course 🙂

@MrGoodbar Ours makes a loop but it’s across school fields, up through a cow field, down a tarmac pavement and back onto the school fields.

@Sharon oh cool 😎 wish I could do that. Although I’d have chickened out in fear of the slipper. Ouch!

@KatieJ Getting the slipper was such a common event when I was at school we didn't think anything of it.

I've been there, was so fast in cross i was going to school on a full ride before my auto accident. Anywho, In my running shorts, I never wore underwear and you would be shocked something's you'd find on your body after a run, my fastest time was a 16:47 my junior year.
