Her voice was clear and transparent that suited the type of songs. She did not need extra voom to sell her voice, it was distinct to her, clear, free honest.

Like you, I don’t find any big deal about Beyoncé. If you have the time, she was part of a tribute concert for Bab, s Streisand. The song was “The way we were” she has the technical ability with no substance or distinct flavour of her own. Then listen to Barbra for the true talent.

Well what made her stand out. I felt their was something about her voice you know it's special. I could feel her emotion in her voice.

Totally agree. I feel that you don't need to have a high singing range to be a good singer. Look at frank Sinatra didn't have highest range but his voice stood out.
