I Battle Depression and Anxiety

Christmas is such a stressor. Oh, how I hate it! Gifts and cards. Did I forget anyone? Cousin Mell. Do I even need to send him one? I haven't seen him in twenty years. Ah hell, he sent me a card last year, better buy one more. Get the car tuned up. Long drive ahead, all the way to Mom's house. Over the river and through the woods. Better get there early, too. Last year I had to park in the back yard, had to get a tow truck to pull me out. Do I have enough savings for this? Inflated prices be damned! How does a freaking Lego set come to fifty bucks? I'll be in debt till I die! Is Aunt Julie coming this year? Why does her breath always smell like moth balls? Can I avoid that horrid kiss on the cheek? What do I do with the dog? The cat? Have a friend come over or take them to a kennel? Do I dare bring them with me? Gotta get to the store, toys for the kids. What do you mean, you're sold out? It's the hottest toy of the season! It's on a commercial every fifteen seconds! You've got signs for it all over your store! I need more Tums. More Pepto. More vodka! Merry Freaking Christmas!
