I Like to Read

A Book'S Impact... When I was about 13, I read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer for the first time. At first, I didn't know why people liked it so much. If I caught anyone dead reading that book, I assumed they were just followers. One day, I decided to read it too. The story pulled me in in a way that I can't even explain. I had such a strong connection with the book that I felt like Bella's shadow. I could see and feel everything that she did. At some point, I could even smell Edward lol. It wasn't the surreal romance that made this book so good. Meyer has an amazing talent for story telling and its important details. It's been a while since I've read something with that much impact. No book has ever come to life in my hands the way that Twilight did.

Recommend me some really good books please! I miss the "escape the real world" feeling that I used to feel.
Thanks : )

I read the twilight books when I was older and avoided them for a long time before I finally gave in. However, when I finally read the series I really enjoyed it. If you haven't read them already here are a few I would recommend: Millennium series by Stieg Larsson, The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins, and The Nine Lives of Chloe King series by Liz Braswell.

I have read the hunger games. Another great series! Somewhat sad ending though. I will definitely check out the others! Thanks. :)

I've heard the Twilight books were very good, especially the first one, but they said the movies didn't capture the true spirit of the novel. I'll make a point of reading it now!

They were correct. The movies are very much trash compared to the books
