@Peaches where are you that you got an ice storm? I know Colorado got hit hard with snow.

And peaches...over there is northern lower michigan.

@JimboSaturn I do as well. Got 4 or 5 inches just Monday. Nearly gone, but i always expect another in april.
This was the first serious snow of 2019🙂

Have you spent any time in beaulah? It is a quaint little place.
If you live in isabella,then this area is close enough for a day trip.

@Carla We've rode the bike trail in Beulah to Frankfort a few times. I love those towns. They are so quaint! We like to get ice-cream at Tiffany's Cafe in Empire. You definitely are lucky to live in such a pretty area! There's beauty in all of Michigan, but that area is probably my favorite - even moreso than the UP. We also like the east side of the state. Presque Isle is another favorite.

@MissSimpleMind it is beautiful. I'm not fond of the long winters though. And a bit more sunshine wouldnt hurt, even if it's a frigid sunny day:)

I can deal with it at first. But after a month or so, it gets very old.
Snow is a full time job. One that cannot be ignored.

@Carla I didn't always love it when I scraping snow and ice off my car to get to work, for sure.
