Yeah.. I contacted an ex just to check up on her and see how she was and she said something like great never been better I found my soul mate.. no offense but what we had was nothing compared to this. Well I thought what we had was beautiful but whatever.. I guess she wins whatever competition I wasn't having with her.

@Niloo Heartbreak is rather perplexing. On the one hand, it is so universal. On the other hand, when we experience it, it feels so terribly unique to us. We know others have been able to move on, and yet it feels as if we never will. I think it is very much like mourning a death. I'm sorry you have to deal with this.

@Niloo well it’s hard. People can be different with different people and sometimes it just looks that way, but it doesn’t stop the hurt. Just remember that no matter what time will out, whatever he was with you was not a reflection on you. It was just all he could be in that time and place. I hope the healing comes soon for you. ❤️❤️❤️

He found his match and you will also. Give it time and get him off of your mind. Blank him out, throw away his photos. Make plans now what you will do for your future when this panademic is over. Start eating right, exercising and doing positive things. I have been there and will never let a man dictate my happiness again! Think about this!

@Niloo You [i]will[/i] be more than ok! No matter how true that latter part is, I hope your heart heals soon, although an ache will remain. I made a friend nearly 15 years ago through a tragedy for us both. Our bond made even phone calls and texts difficult. Not remotely close to your hurt, but enough to grasp the enormity of your pain.❤️🤗

@Niloo I believe that too. I was thrown away after 4 years for petty reasons because she had gotten back with her ex.
It left me devastated, lost and broken. Even to this day no amount of words could describe the pain. I felt everything was done for me. I so wish it had ended sooner but we can just wish.
In time the pain will disappear. In time it will get better. We will get the right people who deserve us.
