Do you or your spouse ask for a timeout to calm down and be creative in your problem-solving?

I try not to let it get that far but sometimes less is more. K tend to overexplain to avoid being misunderstood. And if I raise my voice it means I care. If I'm quiet then most likely I've turned and don't see the point of putting any further effort into things because despite having never fallen in love, I am all or nothing. I give it all I can.

I got tired of being baited into her arguments that I quickly tell her I’m not interested in continuing or I go silent.

I know going silent sucks, but there are only so many times you can fall for the same tricks.

@SW-User I understand. I believe that a relationship should be lead by one person. It's the best way to find balance.. as a ship that has two captains sinks.
