I'd rather be bitten than cause a scene

I let a strangers dog chew on my arms today for upwards of fifteen minutes because I didn't want to interrupt an emotional conversation.

A really close friend of mine and I visited a girl we were buds with back in high school. She has a German shepherd, about a year old, that she's still trying to get control over as his last owner was rather negligent and seemingly abusive.

Pup has quite a bad habit of biting forearms to play. He was sitting on the couch with me and got riled up and started gnawing at my arms, and I couldn't get him to stop. Though my friend and acquaintance were in the midst of an emotional conversation and the last thing I wanted to do was interrupt to get help managing the dog. The easy answer would be to get up and move but that would draw too much attention as well

So that went on until someone noticed and pulled him into a different room

The dog's not aggressive, he's just learning, and the chewing didn't hurt. It was just a little overwhelming. I took these pictures maybe an hour and a half or two hours after the incident- the redness had gone down tremendously
