I Am In High School

I was in school today. The year 7 kids were wondering if they would be in Year 8 when they get back to normal school. Or even Year 9. We agreed we can’t know the answers. But it seems unlikely school will be normal before September. In the meantime we have settled into our new system. Kids aged 3-12 in the same class. Secondary kids back in primary. Kids from loads of different schools together in the same school. And guess who’s adjusted quickest. The kids.

School is open for children of key workers. It has been open even during the Easter holidays. I live in Wales. Kirsty, our Minister of Education has promised us we will still get out summer holiday. She’s a good un is Kirsty. @Quetzalcoatlus

@Quetzalcoatlus I am glad to be part of the war effort. It means the doctors, nurses and every one else at the hospital can get on with their jobs without worrying about their little ones. Meanwhile we have education in a seriously fun way. We are all getting used to it and getting to know each other.
