I Am In High School

It’s my last year in High School. I am in college too! In my country we have a very flexible system. You stay in school til you are 14. Then you do whatever courses will help you. Maybe in school, or in college or apprenticeships in work places. Or a mixture. I went to Art College at 15 but stayed in school to do Maths. Now I am finishing my first year Art degree in college and my Maths A level in school.
I used to be very sad about leaving school but I have enjoyed my Art degree so much and I have so many friends. So I shall leave school with sadness. But look forward to canolbwyntio, what is that in English?, concentrate? on my degree.

No. We have higher standards than America. You get cap and gown after three years of university. Not after school. But that’s the difference between a developed country and one that thinks it is. @trackboy

@LiliMountainGirl cap and gown and diploma is the incentive to go to high school and graduate high school. otherwise a lot would just drop out of high school. high school diploma shows your smart and self disciplined. many are not smart enough to be able to do the high school classes. they can make it through middle school then they hit the wall. thats why its called high school. is high schooling. others cant focus on getting their school work done. its all most jobs need. very few jobs here for college graduates. most jobs are either food service or retail jobs here. 😺
