I Have a Confession

Hubby has been gone for several nights now. I do miss him but I have to admit, this isn't so bad at all. I'm kinda of enjoying doing my own thing. Not cooking dinner, staying up late, goofing off with my bffs, having alone time and just making me happy. God, I hope I don't get too used to this. My wifely duties will resume as soon as he gets back! I didn't realize how much of my time revolved around making him happy. I think this is a much needed break.

I am just the opposite when my wife travels. I double down on the nesting. I guess it just feels nice to do stuff around the house and with the kid and not be second guessed all the time.

It's like a taste of freedom. I have spent tons of time with my daughter but she's 17. She doesn't want to be smothered.

I wasn't questioning your dedication. Mine guy is 12 so he requires supervision and help with school. When she is home I don't bother.
