I Have a Confession

@Isthisit my mother only played the role because she felt obligated.. she left me with my grandparents more often than not, and she cared more for men than she ever did her children.
My father cares, but he never played much of a role--certainly not that of a father--in my life until I had to move in with him.

@boklenholley7 I'm sorry. Do you try think sometimes what your mother was going through? I doubt her decis ions to leave you with grandparents was easy for her. She was only coping I think. I have no doubt both your parents werent coping with things.you know I have a sister who has a son who sounds so much like your situation. My sister left him with my mum to look after while she lived with her boyfriend. And the father was absent.

@Isthisit she was a teen parent. I'm sure it was hard. I can forgive her early issues. Her later ones are the ones that bother me.
That's sad. :/

@boklenholley7 my sister had him in her teens as well. They sound so much the same. I know your mum would feel really bad about stuff it would've been hard for her- I'm sure she loves you so much.

@Isthisit I think your sister probably has more wiggle room. But I know my mom cares about me. She just has too many issues of her own to be a decent mom.
