Sometimes, my love, I wish your parents hadn't arrived at the hospital before me. Sometimes, my love, I wish they wouldn't have vetoed me when I expressed your wishes. You, my love, never wanted this, never wanted to live your life like this. I know, we talked about this, lying together with the stars as our witness. I wish you would have had it in writing, a prove of what you wanted my love.
Don't get me wrong, I still love you, I'm still happy to get to share my life with you.
But sometimes? Sometimes, I wish I could be free. Sometimes, I wish that all that I have left of you would be the memory of you getting in your car that day, smiling and whole.
