I Have a Confession

I think I may be transgender. I feel like I should have been born a male. I wear guy clothes and I love my hair short (It's not really short right now because I don't have the money to get a haircut). But I can't tell my family because they are NOT okay with gays, bisexuals, transgender people, nothing. The only one who knows how I feel is my best friend... And now everyone reading this... So yeah...

I am not transgender, bi, gay, or anything like that, I am straight and male, so I haven't experience what you are feeling, I may have some other things I feel I need to keep personal from my family but nothing like that, I am sorry for you, but I pray that with time you will find a way to tell just one member of your family, so that you can feel better.
Best of luck and good luck with just getting a haircut that makes you feel more comfortable, I know my barberette would love to help you out if she got the chance, so hopefully you will be able to find someone as kind and understanding as she is to help you out.
I don't know if you will care about any of what I am saying but I hope someone either on here or somewhere else will help you feel better.

@JDcaped That's pretty nice, dude.

@MarkPaul Thanks, I appreciate that, helps me know I am doing something right.

@JDcaped Well, an understanding voice (words) can go a long way when we find ourselves in the wilderness of our own emotions, regardless of the circumstances.

I don’t anyone is truly 100% their gender....I mean, I can get quite aggressive at times and, well, not afraid to physically defend myself and that’s typical of males, right?

Or so they so......

.....and that’s the operative phrase....’so they say’....

Being transgender.....being gay....being lesbian....being a tomboy.....these are just name tags....you’ll need to have a look at yourself quite deeply to find who you are and what you represent....

It can be hurtful when parents don’t live up to YOUR expectations (think of it that way!), but in the end that will only make you stronger....

I think you need a little bit of freedom.....to move out, be out of the circle of family....and to truly find yourself....

I wish you well...

When you say that you should have been born a male, that needs a bit more than feelings, don't ya think? >_>

I think birth isn't something you control. You have to just live with it and try your best to use your body to its best

@Candace Yeah... I have to fake a smile and live up to their expectations

@Candace Yeah... But she's kinda in the same boat so we both know we won't judge. And that's good to hear about you and your husband. Wish all parents were like that.

Maybe you're a tomboy--not that there'd be anything wrong with you being transgendered or anything?

Either way, you're okay with me. 🤗

FWIW, having a penis is sometimes not what it's cracked up to be.
LittleMissMusic · 26-30, F
@EnigmaticGeek Still, definitely not comfortable in a female body and I'd take a male body any day
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
Yeah, but you can't hide from your family for the rest of your life or being locked in a "situation" that feels fake to you.
LittleMissMusic · 26-30, F
@MarkPaul My soon-to-be ex-husband let it slip that I'm bisexual... My mom turned to me and said she won't support any gay relationships...
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@LittleMissMusic Oh... yeah, I see the dilemma. Sorry.
Zebra132 · 26-30, F
First of all bravo to you for sharing your feelings, you’re 100% valid no matter what your family of origin may say.
LittleMissMusic · 26-30, F
@Zebra132 Thanks

You can feel that way and you shouldn't' feel ashamed, but it's not true - you're female, and you have plenty of reasons to be proud of that.

if there really is only one life for us on this world.

you should be happy living it.

pretending to be something your not will just make it feel shallow.
