I've tried doing them but my foot is just too messed up to manage it.

I do it, but I do other things along with it. Can't say it alone gave me results, but it's one of the safest exercises to build the core without putting much stress on your back.

Yes its great exercise for the core and for cardio. You can also work the obliques and hips by bringing the knees up as far forward as possible , one leg at a time.

It's great for the core and abs.Make sure your form is good.And yes definetly good for cardio.
It is a good exercise. It's a bit painful, but that means that it's working hehe.

If you wanna up the game a bit try doing planks side to side, or knee to elbow planks. Planks are good for sure, bit much on my lower back.

@Sweetpoison Nah it's just a part of your core I think and my lower back is a weak spot for me. I can't do sit ups because of it haha

@Sweetpoison If its just when you're doing planks then it's probably because you've not really ever worked that area out before like me. After doing planks for a while I could go longer without feeling tense as quickly.

Yeah its very good used to do it at the gym after work-out stretching and we worked up to two mins,incredibly painful

I do this on Tuesdays, between my leg and gluts sets. Trying to hit it at 2 minutes
I did this for two months and I got strong, defined abs. It's well worth it!
