I Am Not As Innocent As People Think I Am

I believe we all have secrets. That’s what makes people interesting, getting to know them and revealing the person behind the mask. Anonymity makes it easier for people to reveal their true selves, but it takes a special kind of person to make you feel comfortable enough to let your guard down in real life.

I've learned that I have enough quirks, thoughts, and desires within me that were cultivated over time and life experiences, that it must also be true of others that perhaps posses their own thoughts and desires that don't align with mine. So I chose not to judge others when they open up.
