I Have Panic Attacks

I'm at the airport, and I'm having a panic attack. Forgot my pills. I'm freaking out!!!!

Just keep breathing. My therapist taught me to sit through my panic and eventually it does pass. It helped me a lot.

Breathe...
Breathe in as slowly, deeply and gently as you can, through your nose.

Breathe out slowly, deeply and gently through your mouth.

Some people find it helpful to count steadily from 1 to 5 on each in-breath and each out-breath.

Close your eyes and focus on your breathing

You can cup your hands over your mouth and nose or breath into a small bag for a minute or two so you re-breath your own air to cut down your oxygen intake a little, that often helps along with closing your eyes to cut down on how much you are sensing for a minute or two until you get control again.
Panic attacks are not pleasant...hope it eases up soon.

Think of your safe place, imagine yourself there.

Feel for you, I was almost in panic mode yesterday but was helped out by a friend 🤗
