I Will Never Judge Your Taboos

No judgments here

thats good. just wonder if you have taboos
Strike30 · M
sent you a pm to talk about them
Yes, but in a way I think all people do it all the time.
I think the biggest prejudice is to believe you have no prejudices. Like Hermeneutics I think our perception and interpretation of the world is determined by our own presuppositions. We are the product of a temporality, geography, language, historical context and our own habitus. To become free from prejudice is a beautiful ideal but I think it is a border area, which we never really will achieve 100%,.
This is a border point we can aspire to achieve, but we should also know and recognize our own inner mental, historical and cultural restrictions.
When we are aware of these limitations, we will find it easier to challenge them.
Any movement and beginning begins with ourselves.

Laura, that is one of the most thoughtful and intellectual comments I've read here in a long time. I want to learn more about Hermeneutics from you, as it's certainly knowledge worth attaining.
That's also how I see myself, but I know there is always a risk to be wrong
