@AuRevoir He didn't ask people for money. At 99 years old he walked with the aid of a walking frame to raise awareness and show support for the NHS and key workers. He hoped to raise £1000, but people here were so knocked out at the effort he made, £33M was raised.

The man was a legend and his efforts shouldn't be belittled.

@InterstellarButterfly if you want to do anything right by Sir capt Tom Moore, you Will write to your local pm and tell them to pay the NHS staff more rather than sitting here telling people when they should make jokes. Make a difference. We let an old man raise a lot of money whilst ya clapped for the NHS.
