I just try to be myself always

[c=000000]The most complicated thing about being yourself is simply trying to be who you are and fit in somewhere, somehow. No peer pressure, just wanting to be understood and hoping others might understand who you are as a person.

You come to realize that your perspective isn't always going to be the same as a good friend or family member. Sometimes you agree to disagree and that's OK as long as you can both recognize that we're entitled to our own opinions, that's what is so important. Never losing sight of the fact that were all uniquely different.

You give respect and hopefully receive it in return. Being compassionate in nature with a gentle heart doesn't always work that well, especially in an often callous and cruel world.

Since I was a kid and growing up in a house full of sisters I was the middle child. The one who had no real place in the hierarchy so to speak, as I was the number 3 daughter. I was loved though by a wonderful caring Mama who did give her very best for each of her daughters.

I was the artsy, musical one, the girl who loved to sing, paint and sketch. Somewhat shy until I became curious about so many different things, especially my own sexuality. I know that my erotic writing and romantic poetry was not readily accepted by my family at first. Some of my siblings didn't seem to understand that I had a rather sensual nature.

I learned to believe that we all have something to contribute and give in this life. Whether it's helping others, sharing our talents or gifts and contributing to society without malice or selfishness. Human beings can be very competitive and often jealous as well. I've been the type to mind my own business and not get involved in petty arguments or opinions that don't reflect our own.

Just go with the flow be yourself and try not to worry about someone not appreciating you for who you are. Remembering acceptance is the key and believing in yourself mandatory. We've all had a pretty rough year dealing with so many challenges and it's time to heal and return to some normalcy once again. Remember to smile and try to be kind, as it's something each and every person needs especially when their lives aren't going so well.[/c]
