This song was written because he didn't have his wallet with him got stuck away from home so he and his girlfriend camped out on the beach. In the middle of the night thugs beat him to within an inch of his life (he wasn't expected to live) and raped his girlfriend. Rather then take revenge he envisioned a world where peace and joy reign.
