Tips on reading the Bible for struggling Christian

I have been a struggling Christian for like a year now and I need some tips. Like where in the bible would it be best for me to start and how much time should I spend studying it. How should I study it and etc. I still struggle with sin which is partly why I'm having such a hard time but I don't know If that's because I don't know how to let the Lord in my life. If you have any tips, suggestions, or advice please leave them down below. Also should I create like a schedule or something with fasting and how much time I should dedicate to studying the bible? I've kind of tried stuff like this out but I end up failing but tell me what you think.

Yes, but I have a sin that I want to stop that is possible to never do and me failing to not do it kind of has separated me from God. But yes we all struggle with sin. I think its cause I'm trying to do it in my own strength which is why I put in the question that I don't know if its that I don't know how to let the lord into my life. @SW-User
