I Have Worked the Night Shift

Finished at half 6 and it was still SNOWING !!!!! SO. I went home. Put on lots of la<x>yers. Rose to the challenge. Rode out on my bike for the first time since I had it fixed. Exhilarated, I was headed for town to find mum a birthday present. Got in, shower than expected but suitably covered in snow and mud. Walking around it quickly became clear I picked the wrong morning to stay up after a night shift. Monday. Nothing opens till 9. I'm like, it's been Monday morning like forever already guys, where's your commitment??...... So I am now not only that berk who sits outside the shop waiting for it to open, but I'm that berk also covered in mud. LOL
