AyeeeIts · 22-25, F
That's what you call jogging down ole memory lane 😂😂
1pebbles · 56-60, F
I totally relate and miss that feeling!?
That's great! I like running alone also. I'm going to start swimming laps when I get home from my vacation.. I look forward to that and one in one time with my thoughts

This is the best description I've read for that feeling you get when you're in the zone.
ChampagneSupernova · 41-45, M
@Serenitree I'm sorry to hear that, but at least you're staying active. That's a plus!
Serenitree · F
@ChampagneSupernova sort of. At least I get up, get dressed and go out.
ChampagneSupernova · 41-45, M
@Serenitree that's half the battle right there!
I heard there's like a "runners' high" like they get from running too.. I guess it could he exhilarating 😊 Not to mention healthy .. Sans the knees thing.. Idk :) i like swimming
ChampagneSupernova · 41-45, M
@SStarfish I think it's all about finding what works for you to achieve that high. I've been lucky that my knees have held up good. Plus I suck at swimming lol
I need to get back to running...I miss that.
ChampagneSupernova · 41-45, M
@DayDreaming2 I definitely understand that. That's why I started in the first place. I hated that I allowed myself to get so bad, and started making time for myself.
It was cathartic for me..being alone with my thoughts
ChampagneSupernova · 41-45, M
@DayDreaming2 I could not agree more! Most days are so hectic and loud that to be able to get that time alone by yourself and your thoughts feels however you can manage it feels so therapeutic and rejuvenating.
3Dogmatic · 46-50, M
The Marines broke me and my knees of that silliness... I’m jealous!
ChampagneSupernova · 41-45, M
@3Dogmatic Ha, I imagine it's a bit different running for pleasure than being forced to run.
