I Remember My First Painful Breakup [Painful Breakups]

It was my first boyfriend.... he was so immature about the breakup. He pulled me aside in class and said “We need to talk” and he broke up with me in class. I was crying for pretty much the rest of the day. He never even told me why we broke up so there wasn’t closure for a few years.

That's similar to my own first break up, though at this age I'm not sure I'd consider it much of a relationship since I was only 13 at the time. He stood outside a window while his friend came into my classroom, and broke up with me for him. While he stood outside the window and watched, rather than just do it himself. I realise now that's just teenage behaviour, not very mature. I would hope adults have more respect and maturity during a break up.
