I Remember My First Painful Breakup [Painful Breakups]

How did you react the first time you felt that heartache caused by a loved one? I remember feeling betrayed, humiliated, abandoned. I truly thought there was no way I could come back from it. I suppose time heals? When I look back on it now I see an emotional nutcase that didn't possess the capacity to keep his shit together. I wonder if I'd be any stronger if I had to face the circumstance again.

I thought i would be stronger the second time around but it hit me worse. It probably depends on the circumstances and the other person . Some people have decency and are respectful some are aseholes. I thought when my husband many years ago left me with a 3 year old child to pursue an affair with a colleague it was the worse but the way my last relationship ended was/is worse . My ex husband was an angel. The latest ex- boyfriend is pure evil. I wont get over it in my lifetime even if i move on it scarred me and changed my life and views of humans. Good luck to you .

@SW-User it is highly unlikely. 😊 But thanks.

@CheerfullyCurious well then just stay here and we can swap memes forever.
The first was a walk in the park compared to the last. Maybe it just gets worse with each new person.

i'm glad, i am still with her today.

I think all of mine have hurt deeply but the length of time I was with the person also has some impact.
If you're an emotional person and give yourself wholly to something or someone then it's a pretty crippling place to come back from.
There's always been a slight edge of defiance to mine, they must've made some kind of mistake. 😂

@SW-User pfft like you could ever have any fault pointed at you.

@SW-User the emotional always stings more than the physical doesn't it?
